About Me

Dr. Alison Kole, founder of the Oak Health Sleep telemedicine program, is a leader in sleep medicine with over a decade of experience. Board-certified in Sleep, Pulmonary, and Critical Care medicine, she earned her MD/MPH from Tufts University School of Medicine and trained at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center/UCLA.

Dr. Kole combines evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) with holistic approaches to treat sleep disorders. Through her "Sleep Is My Waking Passion" podcast and public speaking, she advocates for sleep as a cornerstone of health, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to advance sleep medicine.

As Vice-Chair of the AASM Advocacy Committee, Dr. Kole champions national sleep health initiatives, shaping policies to promote better sleep for all. Her innovative efforts inspire individuals and systems to prioritize sleep as essential to overall well-being.
